In 2011 Founder Helen Donelan Price witnessed how limited access to clean water severely impacted the health of children in rural Alaska. She came away with a desire to educate families on best practices for using and conserving our most valuable natural asset. Thus The Watercookies Project was born.
Our annual scholarship is awarded to college freshmen or returning sophomores working toward degrees in environmental science. The $1000 Scholarship is nonrenewable.

It is the student's responsibility to assure that all required documents including letter of recommendation, essay, and confirmation of GPA have been received by The Watercookies Project no later than April 1 of the academic year.
Interested students should register their intent to apply by completing the form below and using the "send" button. All other documents specified above must be mailed as hard copy to "Scholarships, The Watercookies Project, 33 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Mills River, NC 28759" or emailed to email@example.com. You will be notified by email as each part of your application is received by The Watercookies Project.
